ARCADIA MUSICFEST
Arcadia Academy of Music is proud and excited to announce the 41st Musicfest, being held over 2 days – Saturday, May 30th & Saturday, June 6th/2026!
Musicfest is Arcadia Academy of Music’s largest event, giving our students the opportunity to experience the joy of performing in front of their peers, friends and family. This competition has been and will always be a culmination and testimony of excellent teaching, support, and encouragement. Every year, we are able to enjoy performances from all of our students in large thanks to our instructors.
This year’s Musicfest will take place over two separate days, with distinct levels showcased each day. Each day will have its own unique atmosphere, designed to best support and showcase the students performing.
For this year’s Musicfest, we remain committed to celebrating the talent and dedication of all our participants. Our main goal is to make the experience enjoyable and memorable for both students and parents, while maintaining an appropriate level of competition. As always, we strive to balance competitive integrity with fostering self-esteem, confidence, and musicianship in every student.
NEW ADDITIONS/CHANGES:
1. Every participant will receive a certificate for their performance at Musicfest that they will receive the same day. For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, they will receive an additional seal on their certificate as well as a trophy. Every participant in Preliminary/Primer categories will receive a trophy to ensure we also celebrate our grassroots and new musicians.
2. There are THREE bursary awards. Only participants that have won 1st place will be eligible. However, these awards will be categorized to highlight broader ranges of skill. Students will be grouped according to their age group (5-8), (9-11), (12-15), (16+), instrument, as well as level. They will be competing against students across all Arcadia Academy of Music locations!

Select the categories you wish to enter in. You will need to repeat this process for every category you will perform in.
- Saturday, May 30th:
• Piano Core: Faber Preliminary, Faber 1, Faber 2A, Faber 2B, My First Piano, Older Beginner, RCM Prep, RCM 1, RCM 2
• Piano Contemporary: All Levels
• Guitar, Bass, Ukulele: Core & Contemporary – All Levels
• Drums: All Levels
• Vocal Duet & Contemporary: All Levels
- Saturday, June 6th:
• Piano Core: Faber 3A, Faber 3B, Faber 4, Faber 5, RCM 3 and up
• Instrumental Duet & Contemporary: All Levels
• Vocal Musical Theatre: All Levels
• Vocal Classical: All Levels
• Brass/Winds/Strings: All Levels
Please ensure that you input the participants name correctly. If you notice an error, inform us at Head Office and we will make any needed changes. Any requested changes after the deadline, including the day of Musicfest will incur an additional $20.00 in administration and re-printing fees. Registrations will cost $80.00 per entry and there is an early bird special for a $10 discount until February 28th! Also note that duet performances will also cost $80.00 per performer. The registration deadline has been extended to May 2/2026. Late entries will incur an additional $25.00 in administration fees after that date. No refunds are granted to students who fail to appear for their scheduled competition.
